Cash is King: Not all places accept credit cards, especially in smaller towns

Best Time to visit: Spring (April–June) and fall (September–October) are the best times to visit for pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and better price

Riposo: Many shops and restaurants close for a midday break (riposo) between 1–4 pm, especially in smaller towns.

Mistakes to avoid

Overpacking: pack light and bring comfortable shoes to enjoy cobblestone streets and train rides

Ignoring Local Customs: Italians eat dinner late (often after 8 pm) and no cappuccino after breakfast!
